Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

Did you know Johnny Hightower last surviving member of The Hightower Brothers passed last March. Google his obituary. Full time road group when he graduated from high school. Born in 1941 was best friends with Sam Cooke. The Jackson 5 use to sit in on The Hightower rehearsals when they were on the road. He recorded an Album on Messiah Records. He had a group called Rapture: Johnson and Hightower (1988).
