This is really the first time I knew who The Cowsills were... I'd probably HEARD the other songs but I wanted to know more about the song. Mom took me to Buffums and I bought the HAIR cast album after hearing The Cowsills' version of "Hair"

Gaylord... I'll never forget seeng Chiche and Pepe on a local show in NYC. And then we went to Long Island to buy a puppy (my Uncle driving, the dog was for my cousins who lived there). We wound up naming the dog "Pepe"

Gaylord... also... spent the summer of '63 in New York City. The one thing that stands out from being there was hearing the song "Be My Baby"... and also being in D.C. the day before the March on Washington/"I Had a Dream" speech. There's a photo of me in front of the mall itself before it got filled up the next day. I do recall people talking about it on the radio and TV news in D.C.

Also, Gaylord, Becky mentioned to me in person here to mention to YOU that... we just watched Joey Altruda, Joey Cheezee and Otto Von Stroheim do a two-hour Zoom talk about the beginnings of the Lounge scene in L.A.... it was hilarious. I'll tell you also that it was the follow-up to the first installment, which was an hour. The second one was two hours. But all fun.
