Good evening everyone - Ben v

kinda sounds like Jesse singing.. : - D

"a curl up to your radio and listen song" is what I call this

I didn't know the pear tree in my yard had an anthem!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:33pm
Webhamster Henry:

"Birdses" is a variant on "The Little House", by Josef Berger and Jeff Klonlaris, well performed by Lee Hays of the Weavers, and in this case, The Babysitters.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34pm
Scott Williams:

very sexy nature boy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm

I wasn't listening closely enough, did you say that some of the songs in the first set (Akron/Family?) were basically anti-piracy "chaff" remixes to confuse those trying to illicitly download the album in advance? So, like that whole Madonna "what the fuck do you think you're doing?" thing? I'm trying to remember if any other bands did this during the heights of Napster/Kazaa/etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37pm

yeah, though the ak mixes were intended to be cool on their own, and confuse things a bit. as is my life story, i missed that madona ___ thing.

demolishes most Nature Boy versions, for sure
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48pm

beautiful set <:>:<:>:>

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm

i'd rather not get into it in the comments, search it up though.

whatever he may have said - seems hard to find + so is probably just as well

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm

yeah, it's just instant bliss. so amazing. can't wait for them to come back through nyc.

Were just discussing circular breathing @ the Stork Club (FMU program) Sunday...

ah, ok - one does have to dig for it: https://laplateforme-sonsdhiver.org/crea-parker/ - let's just note that it's there, and as for when someone passes other forms of hot air, open a window, and let it pass..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm

Goodnight <3 great free’k lore today! Thank you so much !

I’m learning to play the banjo. John Brown’s Body and Which side are you on?

Avatar 10:44pm

Hola DJ JJ and crew members.

Some mighty winds blowing thru North Jersey tonight
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46pm
Webhamster Henry:

It's pretty windy up here in Kingston as well. Clearly, it blows for me and you.

Good evening! Turbine exhaust vent on my roof has been squeaking up a storm lately but it's quiet right now. Rain??

absolutely loving the cold, the music, and not having to pretend to be enjoying myself somewhere in NYC right now
Chris H:

Winds are absolutely howling here in NJ, signal still strong tho
Avatar 10:57pm

@chresti -- i will do Rain Dance for you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00pm

Avatar 11:01pm

thank you, chresti!
this Henry Birdsey is PERFECT for Rain Dancing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm

@jj@9:37, I also find Madonna to be of little interest, but the A/F thing reminded me of how in 2003 she leaked a fake version of her new-at-the-time album on peer-to-peer sites where every track was just a loop of her saying "what the fuck do you think you're doing?" (And then of course someone took that as a sample and remixed into something weird.) I wonder how common this was. Some call this "torrent poisoning" but that seems like it could be too broad a term.

great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm

rw, we had a wind advisory for a couple days, didn't feel much around here. 78% chance on Wed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06pm

Haha go Madonna.
Avatar 11:07pm

Fun Eno cover.
Avatar 11:09pm

Vapour Theories "Big Ship " has this wistful wearing down emotion you feel that is also really elated and triumphant kind of like that Brian Eno song on "Another Green World"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm

This is perfect to go with the 40 mph winds hitting rn.
Avatar 11:10pm

lovely set tonight so far jj; apt apt apt
Avatar 11:10pm

oh its a cover? duh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm

my friend described it as crazy horse covering eno, which gets pretty close for me.
Avatar 11:12pm

Such a great, yet impossible, song to cover.

I finally found a long lost short film. I thought it featured music by Ornette Coleman, but it was Sun Ra, very early Sun Ra circa 1950s, Chicago.

The Centennial Dream Arkestra, sparked by memory. The Cry of Jazz (1959) by the late Edward Bland. Thank you Jesse. It's been years, since I've seen it. Ya made my night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13pm

wow cool, @Zetti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm

I love the sound of wind from inside.
Avatar 11:14pm

I gotta sleep, Jesse. So thanks to thee and skeletons.
