Imagine if this were some sort of podcast looking for a home. Never happen. No ad-driveb hosting platform would touch it. But we get it every week for free. Free! I am happy to send in what I can so that Techtonic can keep going out over the airwaves. I value it more than I even know how to say. Same for all of WFMU, but Techtonic feels like a secret defender, always in my corner, telling me that it's OK to stay angry, to stay skeptical, to keep insisting there are other ways. 	6:30pm J Boogie: I’m starting to shoot 35mm photography again and for a second remembered what Instagram (pre Zuck) was all about (pre algorithm) in the first place. It bummed me out. Something that I’d otherwise use to share my work with friends... I’ll just have to build my own website I guess

He was very intent on using the phrase "crypto industry" as much as he could, which seemed like a concerted effort to make it seem tangible. I don't know a lot about NFTs, but they seem like another way to get you to spend money on things you never really own.

Happened to me twice by artists with over 100k followers. The only way to fight back is to not participate in that grifting circle. This is also why I found the NFT thing to be so interesting.

	6:58pm Mary: Lynette Yiodem- Boakye She copied a photo of a dance I had made in agreement with the choreographer and dancers; she made my photo into a painting, Everything inc the edge of the frame- hands toward edge, exact same clothing, lighting and hair bounce. She did change the skin tone and used the medium of paint. The choreographer felt violated too. We sought legal advice and did not have the $ to pursue. Though there was a chance we would have won, I'm sort of known in this small scene. LYB "found it on the internet" so "It's mine" LY-B always says she makes paintings from her imagination" on her gallery site and in interview's in NYT et al . I and choreographer understand art stuff- about homage, appropriation , collaboration etc. This outright stealing with the artist yakking about her imagination was/is, can u tell? infuriating. A copyright lawyer told me to never post on Instagram. I never have. and won't

I don't know a lot about NFTs, but they seem like another way to get you to spend money on things you never really own.

She did change the skin tone and used the medium of paint. The choreographer felt violated too. We sought legal advice and did not have the $ to pursue. Though there was a chance we would have won, I'm sort of known in this small scene. LYB "found it on the internet" so "It's mine" LY-B always says she makes paintings from her imagination" on her gallery site and in interview's in NYT et al . I and choreographer understand art stuff- about homage, appropriation , collaboration etc. This outright stealing with the artist yakking about her imagination was/is, can u tell? infuriating. A copyright lawyer told me to never post on Instagram. I never have. and won't
