so we're not gonna kill jesus ?
  4:36am
Edwin Oslan:

Yeah, and I checked out the Fate dudes' fre-Fate band the Brats. That's some cool stuff; a cross between NWOBHM and punk. And the darn thing is out of print!
Avatar 4:37am
Bill Zebub:

I will play more of BRATS, if you wish, Edwin, including a song that King Diamond sang on.
  4:38am
Edwin Oslan:

Yeah, that would be great! King Diamond isn't on any of their official recordings, I don't believe.
Avatar 4:38am
Bill Zebub:

I have a treasure trove of goodies, Edwin.
  4:41am
Edwin Oslan:

Also, nice on playing "Junior's Eyes." People tend to neglect the last couple of albums with Ozzy.
Avatar 4:42am
Bill Zebub:

I play the old and the new, for the old is new to a few. Doo doo doo.
  4:44am
Edwin Oslan:

This is pretty rad. I don't mind slow and doomy stuff if it's laced with lotsa pretty guitar soloin'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44am
Scott67:

Gotta go chase down my goat to sacrafice for dinner guys! 😎🤘
Thanks Bill & Alan, all hail thee!
Avatar 4:44am
Bill Zebub:

Tristitia - the guitar player is Louis Galvez. He fled to Sweden from Chile during the violence there... perhaps you can hear the South American passion in the guitar...
Avatar 4:45am
Bill Zebub:

Thank you for being among us, Scott.

I think that Edwin might benefit from a Sanctuary song...
  4:57am
Edwin Oslan:

  5:04am
Edwin Oslan:

This is definitely doomier than the first album.
Avatar 5:05am
Bill Zebub:

His pondering has more space here.
  5:08am
Edwin Oslan:

Ah, yes, perfect for the morning after Saint Patrick's Day!
Avatar 5:28am
Bill Zebub:

I wonder why no extermination company is called "St. Patrick"- his claim to fame was banishing snakes. Perhaps if he banished cockroaches, he would be more celebreated.
Avatar 5:33am
Bill Zebub:

Not for feasting have I descended. Graver reasons have called me to earth.
  5:33am
Edwin Oslan:

But death metal vocals are decipherable. That's actually a stereotype that annoys the bejeezus out of me. While it's true that Cannibal Corpse pukes all over the music, David Vincent, Glenn Benton, Chuck Schuldiner, and quite a few others are pretty easy to understand about 75% of the time.
  5:34am
Edwin Oslan:

But, in any case, now I feel cultured! Thanks!
Avatar 5:35am

More operas need to end with the title character being dragged to Hell.
Avatar 5:41am
Bill Zebub:

Listener James, many operas do end in death, and the suffering of the dying outmatch the torments of the damned.
Avatar 5:43am

... like in Tosca,"I die despairing, yet never have I loved life so much..."
