Baja Joe. My friend Paul sits as a trustee for an organisation that raises funds for Brazilian street children. He went to his first trustees meeting only to find that Jimmy Page is also one. I love you so much. That is all I am going to say. I love you so so much Carol, Sheila, Jeffrey, all of WFMU and WFMU listeners. I have been thinking about what to write that could express how I felt listening to pieces like Entr'Acte and Kashmir just as I woke up this morning (which is the hardest time of day, when I realize I am still stuck where I am, yet again, and this music and show and comments board make it bearable and gives me the strength to resist until I am out of here. And this Nick Cave just now) and yesterday and the day before that listening to Sheila talk about the importance of this station and art (and women like Mirry) and only a few hours before that when I put on WFMU the second I got to the flat where I am staying now, after weeks without internet, excruciating weeks of complete loneliness and alienation from not being able to be connected to kindred spirits .... and I could go on and on and on but I shouldn't say more. Thank you for existing!
