	♥ 12:47am Ike: There are at least 3 or 4 different Middle Eastern dessert places in Bay Ridge with good-looking baklava that I walk past occasionally. It’s always tempting to get some but I already eat too many sweets. And I’m a bit sensitive to milk products — you wouldn’t think baklava would have butter or milk in it, but yes, it often does. At least butter, occasionally a bit of milk too.

	♥ 1:16am Ike: For those in southern Brooklyn, there’s plenty of kunafah (also spelled kunafeh, kunafa, knafeh, etc.) at the above-mentioned Bay Ridge places — just hit up Brooklyn’s 5th Ave. in the 70s or low 80s. But I find some of it a bit disappointing IMHO. Cheese in a dessert has never been my thing. Much prefer baklava or one of those bird’s nest thingies.

At least butter, occasionally a bit of milk too.
