(I signed on to Metrograph for a few months to watch "Untitled Pizza Movie" and some others.) They are running a restoration with interviews, 1991 HK film "Center Stage" starring the great luminary Maggie Cheung as 1930's silent star Ruan Lingyu who some of you might know from the film "The Goddess." One of my fave memories of going to Montreal, was WFMU's small change going to their Ninja Tune office, and getting the full back catalog and filling his trunk w/ it (for free). It was about 2009.
