Scott my friend finally got back to Brisbane on the 5th after being stuck in the UK for months and then having to fly to Perth and quarantine there and then fly to Melbourne and stay there for a day before she could finally fly to Brisbane. Quite the journey for her.

@Kris - I laughed at your comment last week about record fair hygiene. I've not been to any area record shows in a long time -- the venue kept getting moved and fewer and fewer dealers were showing up - but might try to actually get to one later this year. And would need to prepare to fit in by not showering for a week or two beforehand.

My father is a physician. When I was 8, and needed to have my blood drawn, I asked the nurse, "can I do it?" (request, was allowed) When I had my knee surgeries. and it got infected. I had my father put in 1/4" needles to drain the fluid. Needles only scare me if they have illicit drugs in them (I've never touched that).
