	♥ 11:39am Otis: Have never tried contacts and would opt-out. I do enjoy glasses and often the world at a blur CAN be a positive. CAN is also a positive musically.
	11:40am Sonderangebot: I hate putting things in my eye too. Probably because i had surgery as a child. Plus I love glasses.
	11:41am ARB: I love glasses too, I wish I could wear them.
	♥ 11:41am StringOFperils: I scratched a cornea once. Had to put medicated salve on my eyeball and walk around with a wad of gauze taped over it for about a week. Felt like I had sand in my eye.
	11:42am ARB: My cat scratched my cornea once, the eye cried for 2 days straight and finally someone took me to the doctor and I was told I almost got cat scratch fever.

	🎸 ♥ 11:44am Ed F. Sleestak: I had this thing called recurrent corneal abrasion, where in the middle of the night it felt like someone stabbed my eye with a needle. A bit of cornea would slough off and my eye would be severely scratched. I had to sleep with this KY type eyeball lube slathered under my eyelids.

	🎸 ♥ 11:45am Ed F. Sleestak: They finally had to numb my eyeball with novacaine and scrape my cornea down past the original abrasion (which the say probably occurred decades ago) and put a temporary plastic lens over my cornea.
	🎸 ♥ 11:47am Ed F. Sleestak: I still occasionally get it, but I just have to lie there with my eyes closed and it will heal really fast - like minutes. I guess your cornea regenerates insanely rapidly.

	12:43pm Ursula1000: Reading your Lasik comment ARB...I wore glasses throughout hi-school and into my adulthood and I finally bit the bullet and got Lasik cuz I missed having peripheral vision--Rewind eons earlier and my older sis took me to see Jaws and it totally freaked me out. Me and the beach did not mesh after. Plus needing glasses didn't help with the fear not being 100% in the water. Fast fwd to post Lasik...I'm in Hawaii of all places DJing and I'm at the beach and realizing--I finally have perfect vision! Maybe I'm now OK w the beach/water thing. I'm lying back on a raft chilling, finally enjoying the ocean and...I freak myself out from the shadow of my legs hanging under the raft thinking its a huge fish swimming by. I end up doing one of those spazzy moves like when you walk into a spider web. Damn you Spielberg!

The difference been, in the past you couldn't talk to the radio and have it talk back. Thankfully I don't have to leave the house before 2PM that often.

	♥ 11:41am StringOFperils: I scratched a cornea once. Had to put medicated salve on my eyeball and walk around with a wad of gauze taped over it for about a week. Felt like I had sand in my eye.
	11:42am ARB: My cat scratched my cornea once, the eye cried for 2 days straight and finally someone took me to the doctor and I was told I almost got cat scratch fever.

	🎸 ♥ 11:44am Ed F. Sleestak: I had this thing called recurrent corneal abrasion, where in the middle of the night it felt like someone stabbed my eye with a needle. A bit of cornea would slough off and my eye would be severely scratched. I had to sleep with this KY type eyeball lube slathered under my eyelids.

	🎸 ♥ 11:45am Ed F. Sleestak: They finally had to numb my eyeball with novacaine and scrape my cornea down past the original abrasion (which the say probably occurred decades ago) and put a temporary plastic lens over my cornea.
	🎸 ♥ 11:47am Ed F. Sleestak: I still occasionally get it, but I just have to lie there with my eyes closed and it will heal really fast - like minutes. I guess your cornea regenerates insanely rapidly.

Me and the beach did not mesh after. Plus needing glasses didn't help with the fear not being 100% in the water. Fast fwd to post Lasik...I'm in Hawaii of all places DJing and I'm at the beach and realizing--I finally have perfect vision! Maybe I'm now OK w the beach/water thing. I'm lying back on a raft chilling, finally enjoying the ocean and...I freak myself out from the shadow of my legs hanging under the raft thinking its a huge fish swimming by. I end up doing one of those spazzy moves like when you walk into a spider web. Damn you Spielberg!
