@Passaic yeah, i think for a while i felt peer pressured into the opinion that M&K and Four Calendar Cafe are lesser. maybe some truth in that compared to the other albums, but they're still pretty great

It's hard to find authentic Mexican food unless you're in the Southern border. Even places my Mexicans cater to American tastes, and I can't stand it. I make my own when I have a kitchen. I prefer Oaxacan cuisine when in Mexico.

when it comes to the probability of authenticity, I've found that the places with Google reviews in Spanish might be a little more 'authentic' than the average Mexican restaurant.

Another fun variable here is that some Mexican restaurants will be run by people who are from a Non-Mexico Hispanic Country, so the menu might have some additional stuff to reflect that.

i used to read the all the liner notes before i even understood what a producer or an engineer was. i vividly remember reading the liner notes to Shania Twain's The Woman in Me and seeing Robert "Mutt" Lange produced it and I was like "who is this man and why is he named Mutt?!?!?"
it wasn't until you played Def Leppard and I read about them on wikipedia that i realized he produced them also
