Did everybody’s elementary school have an urban legend about a guy in a van giving out “temporary tattoos” with the sorcerer’s apprentice on them? They sent letters to the parents about it

This tune was composed by Eddie Durham, who is credited with playing the first electric guitar solo on a jazz record. There's a modestly interesting podcast profile of him at this link, with his daughter by the name of Topsy doing the talking! www.jazzonthetube.com...

Bicycle day, sure enough. I saw Albert Hoffman deliver a lecture some time ago at The Scottish Rites temple in Los Angeles. He was kind of hard to understand with his thick Swiss accent, unlike Terence McKenna who was the warm up act, and put on a dazzling display of magic infused palaver.

I agree Troymo. But a showman is judged on the merits of his performance, and Terrence was basically doing the same routine he had been doing for years. The Chuck Berry of the exploding universe he was.

Troymo, I might have come off as glib, but in reality (or un- reality as the topic might factor in) I too was enthralled with his late night yarn spinning on KPFK in L.A. when I was a young seeker, or stoner if you prefer. Terrance was a forward scout and came back with wild tales of another world.
