Joe B, it was $1 to get into the Grande Ballroom to see the MC5, usually a show that opened up by the Stooges, known then as the Psychedelic Stooges,... the luck of being born and raised at a special time near the venue. It all seems like a lifetime ago, yet here we are, thanks for playing them today!

Joe B, and thanks for playing Ted Taylor, “(Love is like) a Rambling Rose”, especially right before the 5,... that was radio perfection!
🎸 Swag For Life Member 2:16pm
Cacophone Jeff:

@JoeB... Well, Shakers were a religious cult from the 18th century, founded in England, but then re-rooted themselves in this area. I guess it had some popularity, but they believed s-e-x was a sin, which made them unable to bear children, so the cult died out pretty quickly, needless to say. Still, there's lots and lots of things bering the "Shaker" name around here, including Shaker furniture, which they were known for.
