(geo in jc in for Haiku Henry today)
from a small bedroom at the edge of Silk City
where...
the Passaic River flows,
tumbles and rolls.
Embracing all.
and this life,
Always moving.
Wild and high or almost dry.
All this comes at last
to the sea.
Held by the currents pull and passion
this river will carry her
and me

Hey there TDK60!
Rain drops falling in plunks here in Orangeburg. Mist and fog knee high

Blew my socks off.
@BillyLundun, yerfriendpaul, The Butterman:
How nice to share this "taste" with you guys!
@Servus Helvis! Thanks! Loving that!
I respect that you appreciate this really quite peculiar 80s musical style of "NDW" (Neue Deutsche Welle) - referring to transnational German language music, not Germany as a country, so we have these genius bands like Grauzone from Switzerland or Falco from Austria.
I *loved* that decade, growing up in my teens, painting the town red. The crazy happiness (but also political dsillusion of the Cold War etc.) is reflected in the often absurd lyrics.
We think not !
Are we having fun yet ?
This been on daily rotation at home.
FIRE!
LCBD- you reminded me I have sweet potato gnocchi - that would make a nice soup .. with peanut butter. I need your recipe lol
LCBD- omg please do :) <3

I'll be singing it out loud all day

I hope Hearty White gets to find that singer's name - He should write to that cruise company (after finding the ship's name again) and see if he can get a record of who sang on that ship!!! :D
You made my day, evening and weekend. I am going to feed on this.
Thank you for everything you do, and thank you for having me as part of this marvellous musical experience and everybody's beautiful company. Thank you for being my friends.

Buddha - Pixie Dust does work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
karlward, the SY&T is excellent. I was thinking of your project because Phillippe sent me a copy of his local free weekly in the mail and the headlines advertised on the cover sounded like a complete album of song names:
Lawsuit Filed in Magothy Runoff
Balloon Release Ban
Shell Shaking in Shady Side
Fleet Returns to Inn at Perry Cabin
Kaleidoscope Exhibit
Project Spudnik
Vax Transportation
A very complex fake-album art project is out there someplace, which of course I imagine with your illustrations!
We're! Waiting for our Todd!
Sending healing vibes and hugs your way Buddha <3

Tropicália to me is that image of a large band I first saw during a History of Mexico course. “Bread and Circuses” Gathered in front of a glass pained wall holding instruments and paintings and meaning.

PULL !!
I like the book so far. Especially the "typewriter" text they left it in. Really makes it feel authentic.
Also @morphe', the "realism" of reading about a killer, reminds me of the book, My Sister the Serial Killer. Grrreat book. external-content.duckduckgo.com...
