Tom from Homewood: Maybe his first solo album, Black Diamond Snake Roll. Plus what others have already suggested. I've like most of his more recent output, but his s/t 2017 release might be his best since Eye. Though I also love Spooked and Ole Tarantula and...oh hell.

Van was the last name to scratch off my bucket list in 2017, after seeing Joe Jackson in 2016. I guess I need a new bucket list, lest I face the bucket.

Oh no, did Van Morrison become Van Morrissey?

Some American Banjo Folk would fit nicely now. ;)
I’m extra partial to Pete Seeger on May 3rd because it’s my birthday too...

(I sat through the set because I had a full festival pass; it was a dead time of day, and I had a rare actual seat at a table at the venue and was able to pound back free margaritas and chips at something like 11 in the AM)

Groovy Decay / Gravy Deco? a few variations on that one.

@Threemoons - That sounds like some version of a hell. Enticed by comfort, food and drinks then WHAM! you're stuck with a bumbling, crooning old man singing at you. No judgment here. I would have done the same thing - haha.

@Brian makes sense. Unmarked vans we warn our children about, Camper Vans (Beethoven) where we get weird, ... Van Lyfe!

But will add, for insight into these crazy geniuses, watch the documentary about Michael Jackson's last unrealized tour. When they guy is talking music / dance, he comes accross as brilliant. But any other topic, he really struggles to coonnect. by the way, the performances, only rehearsals, so only at about 60 to 70% , are amazing
