No dunking, Mom ;-)

Gerry from Miami:

Mom Whig, Eddie Hodges first got his foot into show business as a contestant on the original "Name That Tune" show. He was just a freckle-faced kid who could sing. I believe he might have had astronaut, Col. John Glenn, as an opponent. Leslie Uggams is another "star" who got her start on that same show.
Avatar 5:40pm
MOM WHIG:

Gerry - thanks, he was also in The Music Man
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm

Mom Whig. Yep, "Music Man" on Broadway. Ron Howard got the movie role, of course. BTW, Johnny Crawford, of "The Rifleman" fame, passed away this past week. He was a teen recording star as well. Led a big dance band in his later years.

Give us a rendition of La Cucaracha then please, Orange Peel.

MOM WHIG, speaking of the Mouseketeers, a friend of mine, now deceased, worked in Disney Animation for 38 years. Started his career drawing pencil birds and honk ducks in "Alice in Wonderland" and finishing up as key clean-up artist for the King Triton character in "The Little Mermaid." He toured the country with "Mooseketeer" Roy Williams promoting "Jungle Book" way back when. Roy was known for the speed at which he could draw all the Disney cartoon characters.
