Will always be somewhat.
Does the sooty make you shiver?
does it?
I saw the the gray convert of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the tan.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the tan,
Gently it goes - the dull, the hoar, the greyish.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am

Hey, by the way☺️
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am
Candy-O'67:

I have good news, too. Baby cacti are starting to pop up! We've had a bit of rain now 🌵
  12:53am
tom tom the pipers son:

oh, that's good news about the cacti, candy!

Hi to tom tom the pipers son
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54am
Candy-O'67:

I know! I'm excited! You see them growing off of other patches around the city, too, and my neighborhood! So happy!
  12:55am
tom tom the pipers son:

is that the cacti in front of your house?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56am
Candy-O'67:

Yes, but most of the dead stuff has been cut away now. My neighbor has still got to get off a few more of the dead pads. I think it will grow better with just the trunks. I took pics of the baby ones growing in the back yard. I'll post in a minute.
  12:58am
tom tom the pipers son:

ok, i'll take a look.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00am
Candy-O'67:

Ok. I put one up. Let me know when you see it and I'll put another one. There's 3 spots they are growing in in the back yard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00am
Candy-O'67:

I'll get a pic of the one in the front yard tomorrow.
  1:02am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah i see them. they're cute lil babies
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03am
Candy-O'67:

Aren't they? I couldn't believe it when I saw them a couple of days ago!
  1:06am
tom tom the pipers son:

never lose hope, i guess is the takeaway...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06am
Candy-O'67:

Yep. Okay, I put up another one...
  1:08am
tom tom the pipers son:

in the new photo, are those succulents?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09am
Candy-O'67:

No, they are little baby cacti that are growing off the old dead ones!
Avatar 1:09am
Owl Sun:

Cheer up tom tom the pipers son
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10am
Candy-O'67:

I guess that's how they look at first maybe? We'll see...
  1:11am
tom tom the pipers son:

they look different than the first photo, to me, anyway.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12am
Candy-O'67:

They do to me, too. I think they haven't grown as much as the first photo ones. I think those may be a little older? Who knows?
  1:12am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12am
Candy-O'67:

Yeah, I think they are just smaller, just sprouting :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am
Candy-O'67:

I was comparing the two just now...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am
Candy-O'67:

But you are right, it will take a few years for them to get back to where they were
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am
Candy-O'67:

Ha, she got you!
  1:17am
tom tom the pipers son:

you got a lot of progress there in a relatively short span of time.

yeah , i guess she did but who knows what she's talking about most of the time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:18am
Candy-O'67:

Exactly, about the Owl! haha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19am
Candy-O'67:

I agree on the progression, too. I didn't expect it so soon and off the dead stuff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19am
Candy-O'67:

She's playing more obscure, weird stuff tonight. I like it when she plays more heavy or garage stuff...
  1:20am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah...
  1:21am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah, i'd say me too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21am
Candy-O'67:

This one is terrible...
  1:22am
tom tom the pipers son:

i'm not really a beatles fan anyway
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23am
Candy-O'67:

Same here, tom tom. They aren't my fave either...
  1:24am
tom tom the pipers son:

in some circles, it will get you into trouble for saying that...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25am
Candy-O'67:

This is true and I always laugh at that! I always liked the Stones better
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am
Candy-O'67:

She's diggin' the instrumentals tonight
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27am
Candy-O'67:

I wonder if one of the DJ's like DA uploads the images for the albums and 45's? Do you think the AI's do it?

  1:27am

i'll always choose the beach boys over the beatles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28am
Candy-O'67:

I guess I would, too, now that you mention it
  1:29am
tom tom the pipers son:

i don't completely understand how this ai stuff works. there has to be a human behind it a some point.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am
Candy-O'67:

I agree with that. I don't get it all either.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am
Candy-O'67:

All right, Bubble Puppy! I've seen them a couple of times the past few years since I've been back in TX. They were great live!
  1:35am
tom tom the pipers son:

i got such a kick out of their name first time seeing it. i don't really know why. when you saw them, do you know how many orig members there were.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37am
Candy-O'67:

Ha! I'm not sure, but most of them were original, maybe only one of two younger dudes. And the lead guy had on these crazy tie dye bell bottoms when I saw them in Austin a couple of years ago!
  1:39am
tom tom the pipers son:

i think the name bubble puppy just struck me as something you would think up when you were stoned out of your mind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40am
Candy-O'67:

I'm sure they were when they thought of it!
  1:41am
tom tom the pipers son:

that's funny about the bell bottoms.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45am
Candy-O'67:

They really were funny. I love bell bottoms, but these stood out like a sore thumb! LOL
  1:45am
tom tom the pipers son:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46am
Candy-O'67:

  1:48am
tom tom the pipers son:
