@handy. Yes crazy because all the pre sxsw shows were rolling through town. I had tix for swans doc at nitehawk on Thursday, so I couldn't do KF show and then it sold out. I ended up going to Lydia Lunch down the street at 66 Congress (old coco)Friday..not many people! Look forward to days when there are too many shows in a night to choose from!

The best poetry never gets too far from music. Try reading William Blake's Songs of Innocence and Songs of experience. Simple but profound. (And a lot of Blake's poetry has been set to music. Also remember "slowness is beauty" the more beautiful something is the longer it takes to appreciate.

NLP is “Modeling Human Excellence” in short. Brandlier late 1980s. Don’t know too much more about NLP other than marketing agencies use NLP & most of the self help genre at barnes and Nobel.

The mind is a powerful tool and we can learn very quickly- phobias for instance. Quick cure for Phobia is about all the NLP i’m aware of... NLP is a Communication discipline, invented by computer programers... can be used for good in a sports context. Model how the best do it, etc

I don't want to spam but I'm actually heading out to a poetry MFA this summer so all this talk gets me so excited. Brigit Pegeen Kelly (who wrote a lot over in Blairstown NJ! and is criminally under read) really opened up poetry world to me and a lot of my peers. *warning to anyone who is squeamish though*

I once worked at a hi-fi store that had a record dept. One of the clerks there would only buy an album if it had at least four hit singles on it, that way she would know it was good. Huey Lewis' Fore! was her favorite record.
