I also wanted to jump on here to say that Jersey City questioning whether WFMU provides educational programming is really really bothering me. I don't know if there's a single time that I've promoted the station to people I know without mentioning how amazing the educational aspect is. The deejays know so much. Amazing background and history on the artists and songs, and then I also wind up learning about all of these really important and influential artists throughout history that almost nobody knows about today. Your show and Old Codger are great examples of that. And your mic breaks are so informative and educational about the compositions, composers, and music itself. And, like, the show right before this, has interviews with movie soundtrack composers. I mean, give me a darn break that this station isn't educational. You better believe I'll do the little I can by at least writing a letter and hopefully getting others to do the same. The other noncommercial stations in the area are also really important and have an educational aspect. This is an important fight. Anyway, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the music in the meantime. So happy to be here with you as always, Bethany!

	8:32pm Rosey is Listening on 91.1 MHz: Seriously, Eugene R. It's so cool that I learned about Flip the Frog. And there are plenty of artists that Courtney plays who I look up information about later and am stunned to learn that they were like the biggest things in entertainment during their times, like the 30s or 40s or whatever. And almost nobody knows about these people and their contributions. Musical history is especially interesting too because it's so multicultural, and it's so important that credit is given where credit is due to those who produced great music in their times and paved the way for music we have today while inspiring young people of all backgrounds to take up music and the arts.

It is wonderful to hear things I've not heard before and be introduced to composers, compositions and performers for the first time. A440 is a welcome change from the "classic" playlists of Bach, Beethoven and Brahms played by many "classical" stations. Keep up the good work!

And also, don't be shy about showcasing the historical + pedagogical aspects of your show (beyond just the music-theoretical component) - "My show seeks to not just to entertain but to explore the technical underpinnings of the compositions that it features, narrate and and document the social and historical context in which these great works were produced", or something like that

My brain still hasn't quite been right since a second traumatic brain injury from a few years ago, so my brain is foggier and slower, but writing is still one of my greatest skills, even if I'm not quite as quick and sharp anymore.
