Listener comments!
Glad to hear that the music is chilling you out!
Thank you for the Gifs
They keep our mind in the moment too.
Oh, and good morning everyone!
I really like the author VE Schwab, but didn’t think It was the right time of year for a Faustian story for me, but wow it really captured my imagination.
Wow!
Wow!
Wow!
And the moon lights up a visible Rocket launch!
Thanks sooo much @Geo in JC
We are lucky indeed!
That very same “A Darker Shade of Magic” author!
If you never checked out the 2nd book in that series, “ A gathering of shadows” it is more Delilah Bard focused and she is my favorite character in the series.
“The invisible life of Addie LaRau” is a very different kind of story.
There is definitely a line of fantasy running through it to drive story, but it is set in our history and world. Much of it happens in 2014 NYC.
It also makes me really happy that @LCBD is Spearheading the June 11 meet up.
You never know what you may find in the city!
I’m glad you got a chance to experience an audiobook that you enjoyed.
“Can’t stop here! It’s bat country!
Having the opportunity to stick it in your ear and slide into another world, another story is pretty awesome.
My local library got access to Hoopla during the pandemic and that has given me free access to a lot of audiobooks. Fortunately other apps like my library’s cloudLibrary app or the overdrive library app (that many other areas have) also provides a lot of this free to me awesomeness!
Amazing Spider-Men hardest hit.
In fact he does a whole disc of nice solo Neil covers.
My black vultures returned this a.m but flew away again. Omen? ida know.
God.
Y'all.
The cicadas are coming!
Hooray! Hooray!

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the 29th batch of approximately 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network, a mission designated Starlink V1.0-L28.
NJ cannot even legalize weed without screwing it up, so.. there ya go.
There are people that remember Brewer and Shipley?
... well knock me over with a feather
This must be Heaven
(pigeon feather that is 🪶 )
Gotta say, Clay, you're hitting all the right buttons today:
Siouxie, Sparks, Todd Rundgren, Lush, and now Radiohead!
Can't wait to hear what other surprises you'll drop on our ears. Keep 'em comin'!

I was 34 when OK Computer came out. It was a big fave back then. I will mention once again that Radiodread is a fantastic all-reggae track by track cover of OK Computer. en.wikipedia.org...
Ooo! Sgt.Peppers on this day too!!
PULL !!
Thanks Winston!! To celebrate I’m getting my hair done purple today :0
Maybe Uncle Floyd’s NJ song should be in the running
No song namechecks Jersey locations like this one: “The Pinelands and the Vinelands / Seaside Heights, Margate / You can have Miami / I love the Garden State.” Released on 1999’s P.S. Mr. Cole, it takes listeners on a trip from Rutgers to the oil refineries, stopping briefly at Cherry Hill, Lake Hopatcong and a sat nav’s worth of other high points along the way. It even pays homage to the state’s most famous musician (sorry, Jon Bon Jovi): “Some states have their rock stars, but Springsteen beats them all.” Damn straight.
I still have my Bones Boy t-shirt from 40+ yrs ago
See ya round’
i can lift 1000 lbs of beers one at a time.
a nice slice of Fudgie the Whale
1000/7.5 = 13.3333..... lifts. I'm on it.
Jack did not have to contend with newer food additives like High Fructose Corn Syrup. Or the Television, at the time of that recording (I imagine).
Did’nt Jack tow a boat with his teeth for his 90th? Birthday!
Thanks, Clay & everyone! Be well!
Music fanatics have over 1000 records and CDs, but it's always extra special when a song you love comes on the radio. :) :) -- Have a great day everyone!!
Happy Wednesday
Thank you Clay.
