With this playing, I feel it appropriate to warn everyone that there is a new DAONA single in the pipeline, and on it I play the trumpet a little. Like Miles Davis. He played trumpet. The difference is that he played it really well, and I don't. I actually left town and did it in the country where I could be isolated and my poor neighbours wouldn't have to suffer. Don't say I didn't warn you...

The Complete Silent Way Sessions woke me to the fact that BitchesBrew was not such a sudden rupture into Electricity... Arguably, it was keyboardist Joe Zawinul here who invented Ambient not Eno... Kind of a logical extension of Miles 'inventing' CoolJazz - certainly epitomizing many aspects of it...

Raga rock would include George Harrison's Love to You and Inner Light, any rock song that uses a sitar (Paint It Black, Hurdy-Gurdy Man), and also Endless Tunnel by Serpent Power. A brief fad in mid-60s rock & roll that nonetheless produced a few good songs.
