Met Brenton Wood many times. I worked in a south Los Angeles record store in the 80s and 90s.and he used to come in quite often. Nicest guy in the world!! No ego at all. And his records were ultra-popular in the San Pedro/Long Beach area. Barry White was a regular after he married Glodene(Love Unlimited), who was from San Pedro. Barry was a bit demanding and sometimes even rude. Oh, those temperamental artists!
