@Yvang: When I first saw Armenian, it reminded me of Amharic. An Armenian coworker told me it was a touchy subject. Some believe the designer of the alphabet took inspiration from an earlier version of Amharic to get legacy legitimacy, others say that's BS

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm

David - The Blind Beggar famed less for the historical character than for where Ronnie Kray gunned down George Cornel of the Richardsons Gang. Now probably a gastro-pub serving craft beer but........
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 1:09pm
Handy Haversack:

Well, my Random Road random generator gave me Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. Which I don't think anyone has guessed, at least. But I'm not sure whether it qualifies as needing an extra column! Or whether it's big enough to qualify at all?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10pm

Will, that would be wonderful - hope it can happen sometime - whether in Jersey City, Leipzig, or indeed the East End of London.

@Stanley, are you talking about the Piranha Brothers, Douglas and Dinsdale?

OK. Well, it then gave me Belgium, which does NOT seem like it fits your criteria ... so one last try: Angola! I don't remember anyone guessing Angola, so I'll stick with it!

Back from the daily potato.
Responding to the talk about *bad* English food, you're more likely to get good food nowadays. And good beer. It's hard for pubs to survive just selling drinks and crisps, nowadays, hence upping their game on the food to compete with restaurants. Roast Sunday lunches are the business, though, especially in London. Perfect for a meet up.
