Saw yesterday Allison Mack is really working to get a break on her sentence now.

She should do endorsements for a certain brand of anti-peptic-ulcer drug.

I'm scared, this sounds like the soundtrack to a horror movie. Hell-o all.

Listener Robert:

During the Gough and Millar years of "Smallville", I always thought the DC comics characters should've been gradually eased off the stage and the show focused on Ms. Mack's character.

This is the most seamless transition from Spin Age Blasters yet, which is saying something.

I was gonna make a joke about it being a "very special episode" like Facts of Life where it had a creepy molester or something, but then I realized it's the CoLDS, so yeah, probably, huh?

What we’ve heard so far reminds me of the Tooth & Nail label of the 90s, in that every conceivable secular genre (in T&N’s case, shoegaze, death metal, punk) could be Christianized.

I think it was in 1997 WFMU was streaming with TrueSpeech encoding. Then came RealAudio (1999?), then MPEG Level 3 (2004?), then AAC (2018?).

I heard a recording supposed to be from the 1950s (from a fanatickal home recordist whose family rented a room to an old Chasid) of a Chasidic niggun (wordless melody) that is _exactly_ the opening of {the "Banana Splits" theme}/"Buffalo Soldier".

Avatar 7:08pm
(Murakami Whywolf))):

Wait, no, I've misremembered it, probably because of the 'Hoy yoy yoys'. What I _did_ hear was a niggun very obviously based on "Miserlou", which is not suprising because it was an incredibly popular song from around 1920 onward with Jews in Roumania, Bulgaria, Turkey…as well as with Turks, Armenians, Arabic-speakers….
