	♥ 8:55pm Kat in Chicago: Studio isn't open yet, I've been recording shows and playing them on the studio computer from Soundcloud, via AnyDesk for the past year or so. Not sure if I will continue in the fall or not, as it's more difficult for me to get over to the studio to do the show now and I kind of want to put Destination Unknown (a long-running tshow I took over eight years ago) to bed. It takes a lot of time to prepare/record and costs $ to buy new music every week.

	♥ 8:58pm Kat in Chicago: Tornadoes are not a Chicago city thing so much, but they're not uncommon in Illinois. This one did a lot of damage in a couple of the suburbs. We just had heavy rain and wind where I am.

	♥ 9:01pm ARB: Tornado drills and tornado sirens were a very familiar part of my childhood in Kansas
	♥ 9:02pm Kat in Chicago: I grew up in NC/GA without A/C so I am also pretty heat tolerant. I have one window unit in my bedroom (which I rarely run) and the apartment has ceiling fans.

	♥ 9:02pm Rich in Washington: we only started doing tornado drills in my school after a freak tornado blew the roofs off some buildings in my town in the early 70s. They're fairly rare here but happen.

Not sure if I will continue in the fall or not, as it's more difficult for me to get over to the studio to do the show now and I kind of want to put Destination Unknown (a long-running tshow I took over eight years ago) to bed. It takes a lot of time to prepare/record and costs $ to buy new music every week.
