Curious episode for my tastes. Mid 70s pop efforts from a variety of musicians thought of as Jazz. Thanks for putting it together.

@WR Thanks for your comment! For me (and a few of my DJ friends) this is "The Sound of New York" that we used to play at our summertime parties. More pop/soul than jazz as you pointed out, but with a jazz pedigree and a lot of latin influence. Next week I plan to dive full-on into west coast-style AOR and I hope you're not too turned off by it! The combination of complex jazz chords and tight pop song structures always spells summer for me.
