Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Phillippe:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Phillippe:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm Carmichael:

  3:15pm chresti:

Hi Tamar and people there! I’m watching paintings getting moved out of my studio!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm coelacanth∅:

totally failing cd Tamar!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Rich in Washington:

That song was so wonderfully frantic it tore a hole in the stream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm coelacanth∅:

hi chresti! how close are you to moved out?
...are you there yet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm coelacanth∅:

i haven't seen the sun in several days here.
-and rain every day for over a week
Avatar 3:19pm Sunny:

it's 103 and smoky out today. i'm shut in
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm coelacanth∅:

(it sounded like a cd failure to me, not a player failure)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Rich in Washington:

I recently put a crappy burnt CDR of a goofy homemade Gospel record on during my show and it was skipping hilariously, taking several minutes just to get through on minute of the actual song.
I tried playing it on a subsequent show and it failed to fail. I could never replicate that wonderful skipping it was doing.
  3:29pm Julie at a lake:

I missed Clothilde!
Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Tamar:

Hallo Rich, Sunny, Ken Summer/Michael/Sylvia, chresti, and Julie! Yes, CD-R issues, seems like. Grrr
  3:32pm Julie at the lake:

the player for CDRs best in C was the front entry one which has since been replaced
Avatar 3:35pm Bas NL:

4 bases one name
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm Gaylord Fields:

Is the collective version a "coven of Riches"? (Also, hi, Tamar!)
  5:15pm rich the greeb:

Buy*
  5:15pm rich the greeb:

Embarrassment
  5:15pm rich the greeb:

Natch
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm Gaylord Fields:

@greeb: Yes, yes it is.
  5:19pm chresti:

Baba Beekins!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm listener james from westwood:

Oh, this cover is so excellent.
  5:20pm rich the greeb:

Omg I love this cover sooo much and I love the original
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm coelacanth∅:

china continues to milk the title. they named 4 individuals unrelated to the original gang of 4 "hong kong's gang of 4".
and the main driving force behind the band has flown the coup d'etat, so i think it's all ours
"gang of four riches".
Tamar gets a %.
  5:22pm rich the greeb:

I look forward to the bootleg Chinese band version of us
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22pm coelacanth∅:

hahaha
  5:22pm rich the greeb:

Let’s meet at the record fair and impromptu perform
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm Carmichael:

The Chinese version of the record fair.
Avatar 5:23pm Bas NL:

  5:32pm rich the greeb:

Oh boy
  5:35pm rich the greeb:

It is currently fresh
  5:35pm rich the greeb:

We’re happy you’re here Tamar!!
  5:38pm rich:

an embarrassment of riches is a collective noun that everyone who is a rich or knows a rich can agree with
  5:40pm chresti:

Well, the big stuff is out of here. What’s left are small piles of stuff. I guess I’ll go home, the small piles can wait.
OMG I love this song! Thanks Tamar!
  5:45pm rich the greeb:

This reminds me of slapp happy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm coelacanth∅:

so which came first, little margaret or matty groves?
  5:59pm rich the greeb:

I bet musicologist and musician Richard Blaustein would know. One of the 3 Riches I was named after
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:01pm coelacanth∅:

Richard Thompson probably knows also
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm coelacanth∅:

(i'd put money on matty groves in any case. it just seems older)

  12:26pm C in Thailand:

I'm super-late to the party but...
The artist for the Thai/Isaan 5th song is the listed in the YouTube video "Noi Pohngam." Last name pronounced like "Poe-Gnam" or "Poat - Gnam" with a very short "t." "Ng" like "sing."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm WR:

Thank you for the info, C in Thailand!
