	3:11am cometothesunshine: Doing this show changed how I bought and listened to records
	3:13am David in California: What did you look for in records after you started doing the show?
	3:13am cometothesunshine: When my Mom used too see TBA or To Be Announced in the TV Guide, she thought it was a religious program.
	3:15am cometothesunshine: David - I got an ear for grouping things and kinda spotting potential 45's for the first part of the show in a quick, 15 sec needle drop. I also just started listening to everything, whether I had heard of it or not. You never know where you will find a surprise.
	3:17am David in California: Of the records you hadn't heard of, about what percentage did you wind up using on the program?
	3:18am cometothesunshine: About 65-70%
	3:18am cometothesunshine: I kind have become all about finding things I have never heard of.
	3:25am David in California: That approach makes your program very different from the nostalgia oriented 60's shows that only play familiar songs.
	3:27am cometothesunshine: I am sure it holds it back in some ways, but it also pushes things forward a bit.
	3:27am cometothesunshine: I hope that someone will hear a song for the first time that will stick with them.

Out of all the no-hit/ one-hit wonders you've picked up, have you ever found one that you thought, "This should have been a massive hit! They should have been huge!"...? 	4:52am David (in London): I remember watching colour Monkees in the 70s and wondering why everyone wasn't driving around in a Monkeemobile.
	4:53am cometothesunshine: The orig UK run of the series was Jan 1 67 - about March 68
	4:54am David (in London): The Monkeemobile was up there with the Pink Panther's car, the Adam West Batmobile and the two amazing cars from Gerry Anderson's UFO. It's been a bit of an automotive disappointment from there on in really.
	4:55am Krys O.: I watched the Monkees second season 67-68 with my brother. I was 4-5 years old then. Left a lifelong impression.

	3:13am David in California: What did you look for in records after you started doing the show?
	3:13am cometothesunshine: When my Mom used too see TBA or To Be Announced in the TV Guide, she thought it was a religious program.
	3:15am cometothesunshine: David - I got an ear for grouping things and kinda spotting potential 45's for the first part of the show in a quick, 15 sec needle drop. I also just started listening to everything, whether I had heard of it or not. You never know where you will find a surprise.
	3:17am David in California: Of the records you hadn't heard of, about what percentage did you wind up using on the program?
	3:18am cometothesunshine: About 65-70%
	3:18am cometothesunshine: I kind have become all about finding things I have never heard of.
	3:25am David in California: That approach makes your program very different from the nostalgia oriented 60's shows that only play familiar songs.
	3:27am cometothesunshine: I am sure it holds it back in some ways, but it also pushes things forward a bit.
	3:27am cometothesunshine: I hope that someone will hear a song for the first time that will stick with them.

	4:54am David (in London): The Monkeemobile was up there with the Pink Panther's car, the Adam West Batmobile and the two amazing cars from Gerry Anderson's UFO. It's been a bit of an automotive disappointment from there on in really.
