I love the conversations about 8 burgers for $1...being born in late '69, I'm amazed how affordable things were then...5 cents for Beatles or baseball cards!?!? I pay $2-3 now for packs...I was born to late...

Woo, you got it! What was expensive then--and now? Well Billboard was 50 cents in 1965 and $20 a year. THAT was big money. Record Beat was only 25, Hit Parader, etc 35 at most, but Billboard was expensive.
