I'm notorious for not connecting all the dots perhaps - but I think I read online that Windy & Carl had - a bookstore? Something - that stopped because of Covid or something like that - & then their dog passed away. & they were grieving hard & not relating to people for a long time. & then they started working @ a dog shelter - & have started to emotionally recover.
