Yes it is, Mary. But in a different context:

One of the throwing techniques in judo. → see Tsubame Return.

One of the methods of cheating (Ikasama) in Mahjong. → Mahjong Cheating #Swallowing.

One of the techniques of Serolin Temple Kenpo. After receiving the opponent's thrust, it counterattacks with a hand to the opponent's neck with the hand.

One of my few forays into game editing was for an adventure module (basically the frame "story" or situation the game master presents to the players) for the flavor of D&D I play a few years back. There was a really badly written encounter with a "witch"; it was just kind of puerile and misogynistic. So I decided to rewrite it entirely. Basically, I just made an extended allusion to "Camarillo Brillo," complete with toads of the short forest, magical castanets and incense stencher, a dwarf-breeding program, and a doll with a pin. I was VERY proud of it. And a few reviewers even noticed ...

Moose populations are under pressure in the NE because global warming has given ticks months more time before the cold kills them off for the winter, so more blood loss, more disease. I don't know if there *is* a too far north for ticks anymore.

Doing loose grounds maintenance in a brushy old wee island fort the other day, I mentioned to someone who works out there all the time that I'd neglected last time to do the tick check. He said no ticks. No mice, no deer -- they don't make it out there, so no ticks. But the brain's resistant to believing when there's so much brush and grass and you're in pretty full contact with it. I wonder if even wind could carry some there (not far from mainland and bigger islands) as it probably does with seeds, and dogs or people could transport them there to start a population.

got ticks the last time I went to Bilbao for the BBK music festival. We had to go to a pharmacy and try to explain in Spanish we needed the special tool to remove them. We each had around 20 ticks all over our bodies. And we had to check every inch of skin. EVERY.
Then, once back in France, we went to our doctors to get the oral treatment. Ugh, that was something.
