Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

The Therd Floor, this “typo” appears on the welcoming sign to direct concert goers
to Phill Niblock’s Manhattan loft which, since 1973, as Experimental Intermedia Foundation,
has been a New York nexus for global musical innovation. It’s performance space and label,
XI Records, are represented here with recordings from Tom Chiu and the Flux String Quartet,
Mia Zabelka, John Hudak, Gen Ken Montgomery, and Mr. Niblock himself.

@david: It was on Maspeth Ave next to Cooper Park. We had a large basement and backyard, large living room, and 3 beds and 1.5 baths. The my former partner wanted us to get our own place, so we moved to a small place in Bushwick, no shows at that residence..
