Just when things were heating up in early March last year, one of our customers came into the office and exhorted me to shake their hand. "C'mon!" As if it was a loyalty oath or something. I immediately slathered on the hand sanitizer when he left.
	1:16pm Listener Robert: You think NINE years old is LATE to learn that? I had to be in at least double digit ages before I learned to blow my nose at all, but I must've been in my 20s or 30s before I learned how to do it more effectively. Being asthmatic didn't help, even though Daddy was a doctor. I didn't get the idea of simply blowing, I tended to HUM, figuring that was how breath came forcefully out of the nose! Eventually Daddy taught me 1-nostril blowing when I was well into adulthood. But I still tend to SUCK IN AND sometimes SWALLOW a lot more phlegm than I blow out. Hey, that way I recycle more of my immunoglobulin A, good thing, huh?

My orthodontist, OTOH, was a sweet person even though he installed a palate expander and I had to wear a chin strap with 15 lbs of pressure from rubber bands each day.

Just when things were heating up in early March last year, one of our customers came into the office and exhorted me to shake their hand. "C'mon!" As if it was a loyalty oath or something. I immediately slathered on the hand sanitizer when he left.
	1:16pm Listener Robert: You think NINE years old is LATE to learn that? I had to be in at least double digit ages before I learned to blow my nose at all, but I must've been in my 20s or 30s before I learned how to do it more effectively. Being asthmatic didn't help, even though Daddy was a doctor. I didn't get the idea of simply blowing, I tended to HUM, figuring that was how breath came forcefully out of the nose! Eventually Daddy taught me 1-nostril blowing when I was well into adulthood. But I still tend to SUCK IN AND sometimes SWALLOW a lot more phlegm than I blow out. Hey, that way I recycle more of my immunoglobulin A, good thing, huh?

	1:18pm having a fire: I don’t remember when I learned to blow my nose, but I know it took me well into my teenage years to learn to clip my fingernails instead of biting/peeling them off

My orthodontist, OTOH, was a sweet person even though he installed a palate expander and I had to wear a chin strap with 15 lbs of pressure from rubber bands each day.
