Yes, Angie! Not well, but I've met and hung out with them a few times....but it was over 10 years ago!! :)) I am still good friends with the drummer of the Lords of Altamont and his wife. That's how I knew the guys that were in the Bomboras, from them :)

BOG, in the '90's I still lived in Houston and was a fan of the Bomboras and They Ghastly Ones, which have some of the Bomboras members in them. I never dreamed when I moved to CA in '99 that within a few years, I would be hanging out with some of the guys! Ha!

I went only once when the Zombies played. I think it was 2013 or 2014. I had a ticket to see the Elevators reunion, but cancelled the fight last minute because there was a tornado warning. I still regret missing that.

I was there that year for the Zombies, BOG! That was the year I moved back! I also was planning on going the year Elevators played, but then I had to go to my niece's b-day celebration (she was like 6 years old then) in New Orleans area where they live. I heard it was pretty bad because of the weather, not fun to be there for that one. I think part of it did get rained out because the grounds were flooded!

yeah - i grew up in south jersey about 1/2 hour from the shore and was stationed at vandenberg just north of santa barbra right on the coast. here in baltimore is 3-5 hours of traffic to get to the ocean, and i'm not sure about travelling to the jersey shore at the moment
