I was of the mindset that the cookies were fine for consumption but the bureaucratic head of the old age home (I was delivering to) was not having it. I still believe the cookies were fine and it would be worse to deprive these nice people of their after-dinner-cookies. I should go back to sleep and see if I can track down some fresh ones.
