[brief pause] They said it again!”) Anyway, I remember taking my UK counterpart to see Art Brut at Irving Plaza back in the 2000s. Neither of us were huge fans but we liked them well enough, and it was the only decent gig in town that night. Anyway, we walked into the big room and Eddy’s flabber was gasted. “This is like four times as many people as they get in London,” he said. “And almost none of them are women.” #GainedInTranslation

	🎸 ♥ 11:13am Krys O.: I was lucky to start listening to WCBS-FM when they started their oldies format in 1974. They gave me quite an education in early rock and pop. The Everly Brothers were a real link between country music history with their childhood radio shows and the dawn of rock.

From that - it was more than apparent that they were the Greatest TwoPart Ever. & what's more - that they had unfailing instinct for great - even indispensable Songs - & not credited enuff maybe: their Records always had fantastic playing, arrangements & production.

	10:29am Mike W.: I know this story is late but I only JUST arrived in The Field with Dusty. (When Tom T. sang “dusty road” I said to her, “They said your name! [brief pause] They said it again!”) Anyway, I remember taking my UK counterpart to see Art Brut at Irving Plaza back in the 2000s. Neither of us were huge fans but we liked them well enough, and it was the only decent gig in town that night. 	🎸 ♥ 11:13am Krys O.: I was lucky to start listening to WCBS-FM when they started their oldies format in 1974. They gave me quite an education in early rock and pop. The Everly Brothers were a real link between country music history with their childhood radio shows and the dawn of rock.
