@ Georgy, my uncle was one of those people who always was the first to hear of bands before they became popular. He first heard The Stones on some NYC radio station late at night probably in 1963 or 1964. I don’t know what song he heard , but whatever it was , it prompted him the next day to go out and buy their first album. I wish I could ask him, but he is deceased now. He always loved sharing these stories with me.

Get Off Of My Cloud is one of my all-time favorite Stones' songs! I've got two stories to share - saw them twice in my lifetime!
First time was back in the late '80's at the Astrodome. Everything was nosebleed, but I had a blast and was in fine form partying my butt off as I was probably only 21 or 22 when I saw them! Drugs were a flowing, let's say! haha!

2nd time I saw them was so much FUN, too! Okay, so me and my great friend Jim Freek (some LA peeps may know him) went to see them at Dodger Stadium. It was me, Jim, and a couple of his friends. It took us at least 2 hours to get in the line to park!! We had such a hoot laughing and cracking up while waiting to get in, wondering if we were even gonna make the show! We did and this time I was COMPLETELY SOBER and had such a blast! Definitely better to see them sober, in my mind, cause you remember it all! LOL!!!!!

@ Gg - The filmimg, We called it a wrap last tuesday. It wasn't completely satisfactory because of a disturbing Apache helicopter but We'll manage. Now all that is left is editing and then it's colourgrading and sound engineering in post.

This is a rather beautiful choice for a farewell track, because just like in that Keith Richards' tweet picture, no Charlie here on this song(it's Jimmy Miller on drums btw). The drummer has indeed left his kit behind. Rock'n'roll will never be the same again.
