	♥ 6:24am G: Been a little rough ere around New Orleans. Have to get online work done so I can drive at 11 (checkout time). Was up at 3am today to work. Yesterday was nearly 200 miles back to the house in New Orleans, arrange things there to be gone for 2 weeks tentatively, then 200 miles back -- 8:15am till 8:15pm, to NO and then back here to north of Natchez. We were going to do a road trip in a few weeks anyway, so this is it now lol. No power or internet at home for awhile, looks like; can't work in NO w/ no power, and they say it will be several weeks... Entergy (local power co.) stinks. 3-4 years ago, they went through all kinds of rigamarole and shenanigans to get authorization for a new plant in New Orleans East. They even hired actors to give scripted testimony to the city council claiming the local neighborhoods wanted it. Lying bums. They built it. And now they lost all power in town for who knows how long. They are covering up a massive planning failure.

Turned out he knew my uncle’s bar because he too owned a bar close by to his. Got very weird and exciting. Anyway.when I asked him to get in a picture with me I whispered in his ear “pretend you love me”. It’s a pretty good photo.

The friend, not yet diagnosed with autism at the time, often felt shy and uncomfortable around others. He recalled how comfortable Bowie made him feel: We all got a signed poster. 	♥ 6:24am G: Been a little rough ere around New Orleans. Have to get online work done so I can drive at 11 (checkout time). Was up at 3am today to work. Yesterday was nearly 200 miles back to the house in New Orleans, arrange things there to be gone for 2 weeks tentatively, then 200 miles back -- 8:15am till 8:15pm, to NO and then back here to north of Natchez. We were going to do a road trip in a few weeks anyway, so this is it now lol. No power or internet at home for awhile, looks like; can't work in NO w/ no power, and they say it will be several weeks... Entergy (local power co.) stinks. 3-4 years ago, they went through all kinds of rigamarole and shenanigans to get authorization for a new plant in New Orleans East. They even hired actors to give scripted testimony to the city council claiming the local neighborhoods wanted it. Lying bums. They built it. And now they lost all power in town for who knows how long. They are covering up a massive planning failure.

Turned out he knew my uncle’s bar because he too owned a bar close by to his. Got very weird and exciting. Anyway.when I asked him to get in a picture with me I whispered in his ear “pretend you love me”. It’s a pretty good photo.

The friend, not yet diagnosed with autism at the time, often felt shy and uncomfortable around others. He recalled how comfortable Bowie made him feel: We all got a signed poster. Because I was so shy, they put me in a separate room, to one side, and so I got to meet him alone. He'd heard I was shy and it was his idea. He spent 30 minutes with me. He gave me this mask... He said: "This is an invisible mask, you see?" He took it off his own face and looked around like he was scared and uncomfortable all of a sudden. He passed me his invisible mask. "Put it on," he told me. "It's magic." And so I did. Bowie then made a "magic mask" for himself, put it on, and said, ''Now we've both got invisible masks. We can both see through them perfectly well and no one would know we're even wearing them." "So, I felt incredibly comfortable," Magrs's friend said.
