What’s up with “Up with People” anyway?
  9:19am
egould310:

Up With People; a very cult-like vocal musical group. Good choice, Micah.
  9:20am
egould310:

This Up With People has inspired me to get out of bed and go for a run.

this Saticoy track will be stuck in my head all day. Amazing

Daybreak & Saturday Ramblings:

@Joe Mulligan,
Thanks for the link. It’s interesting that there are so many links now that you can read like a preview.
Wow! Abandoned by his mother in Guatemala…
That is awful, but not the worst thing that happened. Not the Saturday story for me, but thanks for the synopsis.

Glistener MW:

This “Proud Mary” is almost as good as Leonard Nimoy’s version!
  9:54am
ron-ji:

I have no words at this moment but bless you, Micah-ji, and all who trod in thine footsteps.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55am
joe mulligan:

@Daybreak of course! I'd def reco the "100 Foot Wave" mini series if you have an HBO password. It's wild to see how a person's demons of youth can lead to the intense focus and greatness as an adult. He said big wave surfing helps him forget about it all.
  9:56am
Wendi + Ronny:

This is fun !
  9:58am
dano59:

Did you borrow this from Gaylord, Micah?
  10:00am
Daybreak & Saturday Ramblings:

Joe Mulligan,
It has to be the ultimate meditative moment. Be in the now, you are not only your passing thoughts, you are not only your passing feelings, etc. That is exactly how you need to function to do something so crazy and intense.

Erin in TO:

Ahahah this track is hilariously awful
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am
joe mulligan:

@Daybreak - very true. at the risk of going on a tangent, there are many times I catch a wave and don't even remember what happened a second after. and that's just with small waves!

This amazing set is Music of Mind Control without (most of?) the most heinous cults, but with the advantage of a broader theme. Is this a regular gig, Micah?
  10:08am
ron-ji:

Oh, and three times as long as MMC, but I don’t think I could take three hours of mind control a week.

All these years and as far as I know, they just make the same regular Fritos. Funny that they don't have dozens of different variations: Lime Fritos, Red Hot Chili Fritos, etc.

There are other Fritos, but the original still has just three ingredients: corn, corn oil, and salt.

While driving home yesterday, I saw a truck with a decal that said, "If you can't be handsome, be handy." I had mixed emotions.
