We see two computers (“Tom” and “Jerry”) light up and converse, “agreeing” that the crew should be alerted. A smart early suggestion that something like a big space ship would have at least dual independent control systems, constantly double checking each other.

	6:44pm Mi-rgod: @KFHP - Granted I missed the opening of this interview, but I feel like containerized microservices type software architectures are pretty well aligned to evolve to this type of hardware architecture. I'm using kubernetes to do some work of this type, so I say "I need one component to get 1/10th of a CPU and maybe 64 MB of RAM, and this other one to get 1/20th of a CPU", etc. I do wonder if the hardware evolution is even necessary - I mean we can already request small slices of CPU and RAM in these containerized platforms. Again, maybe I missed some important context. Also, to answer how do we prevent big-tech from co-opting. Remove the capitalism baby! The k8s I mention above is me trying to build a platform to support the establishment of, management of and communication between worker cooperatives. I'm betting I'm not the only leftist geek on here - we should start talking...

I'm using kubernetes to do some work of this type, so I say "I need one component to get 1/10th of a CPU and maybe 64 MB of RAM, and this other one to get 1/20th of a CPU", etc. I do wonder if the hardware evolution is even necessary - I mean we can already request small slices of CPU and RAM in these containerized platforms. The k8s I mention above is me trying to build a platform to support the establishment of, management of and communication between worker cooperatives.
