I saw the Fleshtones and Hentchman at a college union cafeteria in 2008. THere were about 6 people there so the Fleshtones invited the crowd onstage with them to dance and party down. It was super fun.

Speaking of the Bond Street Bar, there's a good show October 8th on the adjoining block--specifically, in the 714 Bangs Avenue alley space known as Ghost Harbor Creative.
Nervous Triggers, Shut Up!, the Slow Death and Mikey Erg’s band are playing.
You’d easily be able to hear it while seated in Bond Street, were it not for that bar’s dj.

I saw Osees 2 Saturdays ago which my first COVID era show (not counting the local cover band I saw at the downtown Blackberry Fest). It was cool. The club was too crowded for social distancing. The entrance was kept open and I camped out near there. It was pretty fun overall.
