But I caught on quickly and as I figured, it was all about good storytelling. If you can report and write, you can probably transfer those skills to moviemaking.

It seems to me that one of the differences is that sunshine pop lyrics may involve yearning, like "Sunday Will Never Be the Same", but I can't think of a bubblegum lyric that does.
