Dennis, I actually saw Pearl Harbor and the Explosions at a series of free outdoor concerts held on the University of Southern California campus and sponsored by KROQ, the "ROQ of the 80s." Other bands I saw in this series were Doug Feiger and the Knack and the Paul Collins Beat. Pretty goid stuff!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
Woo:

I've never heard romance rhymed with underpants before. Well done Procol Harum.
  3:39pm
Gerry from Miami:

God, the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli were so incredibly good! I went to see the Manhattan Transfer in the late 80s at LA's Greek Theater and, unannounced, guess who waltzed out onstage to accompany the Transfer during the doo-wop section of their program? Mr. V, himself. The audience went nuts! They did a mix of classic doo-wop hits and Four Seasons/Frankie solo material. Memorable evening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm
Dennis Diken:

@Woo - right, Procol Harum had it going on! @Gerry from Miami -,oh yes, The Four Seasons made some of my favorite rekkids ever!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm
