@Candy-O'67- Ah man-RE: Thyroid stuff-my thyroid gland was supposed to be destroyed by chemotherapy I had and I was supposed to go on Synthroid medicine for the rest if my life--- but i went to a Dr of Chinese Medicine who gave me acupuncture + Chinese medicinal herbs and I swear to God that CURED me ---somehow restored my thyroid gland to full functioning again

Speaking of Dom Mariani, I'm a huge Stems fan and I got to see DM3 up close at SXSW at the Spider House Ballroom here several years ago. They were on an kick-ass lineup that day with The Fleshtones, Woggles, and I think The Soundtrack of our Lives. That's just a few I remember! I know there were other cool bands, too, that day. Probably Ugly Beats. It was a day show probably 9 or 10 years ago when I still lived in CA, but was here for a visit for SXSW :)

@terre they have never stopped us getting take away food. We can't travel out of our local government area (maybe like your counties?). Exercise groups, outdoors only, no more than 5ppl. I go to the stupidmarket sometimes, that's about it. Drive thru McDonalds for the kids sometimes.

Terre, take away is fine, & distance limits from home apply. Exercise outdoors is allowed for a time limit. It's totally doable if you get your head right, about why we're doing it. But there are some choice fuck knuckles in Melbourne trying to ruin it for us all.

My peeps in New Zealand are slowly coming out of lockdown. Auckland and part of the surrounding area are locked down the tightest, though they recently loosened the restrictions a bit. A Kiwi friend of mine who lived in the US just flew down there for a visit, spent 2 weeks in managed isolation only to not be able to visit anyone in Auckland.
