	12:46pm Listener Robert: I cross the Delaware around there a lot now, but the most fun was on the way home from a fireworks festival in Weedsport, NY, where the friend who drove me either was not allowed or had no opportunity to mortar-fire fire a cylindric salute he'd made -- way too powerful for the ground bombs, so he was taking it back home with its long manual-fire fuse. Last exit before the bridge east of Stroudsburgh, we went into a park, where he lit it and threw it off an observation platform. It went off right next to a ranger station, and we got out of there in a hurry. The echo off those high banks was awesome.

	♥ 1:00pm Irene Trudel: Oops, Robert! Glad the ranger station didn't perk up! I love this spot at the Delaware Water Gap. If you look closely at the peak you'll see some hawks flying around. Unfortunaately every time I tried to take a picture the birst flew into the foliage, making it harder to spot them. But a beautiful spot nonetheless.

	2:18pm YETI BOB: The only problem was, I was listening via my (tinny) laptop speakers, and I couldn't get up to grab the long cable to plug in to my amp. And of course I couldn't disturb the cat.
	2:19pm YETI BOB: But I just remembered the amp has a bluetooth input channel that I never use, and a remote control that is within my reach, so - problem solved!

	12:46pm Listener Robert: I cross the Delaware around there a lot now, but the most fun was on the way home from a fireworks festival in Weedsport, NY, where the friend who drove me either was not allowed or had no opportunity to mortar-fire fire a cylindric salute he'd made -- way too powerful for the ground bombs, so he was taking it back home with its long manual-fire fuse. Last exit before the bridge east of Stroudsburgh, we went into a park, where he lit it and threw it off an observation platform. It went off right next to a ranger station, and we got out of there in a hurry. The echo off those high banks was awesome.

Unfortunaately every time I tried to take a picture the birst flew into the foliage, making it harder to spot them. But a beautiful spot nonetheless.
