Oddly enough, I am sort of accessorized for this set today. I always wear earrings but today I put in little amber studs that my Mom got me in Denmark, and while I was digging for those in my jewelry/wardrobe/general crap area I accidentally dislodged an antique brass acorn pendant on an arty chain....and only today found out that the top screws off and it has a little tiny stash area in it. Put it on because it kind of goes with the amber. Thinking about putting lip gloss or something in the tiny stash thing.

I came to prog very atypically. One of the first bands I ever really got into as a kid was Marillion! How many people (whose parents were not in Marillion) can say that?

I had some mugwort-infused cider the other day, and in one of the weird dreams that night, a guy in a rotating assemblage of Marillion T-shirts first shot a spear gun through my tent wall and then taught a doomsday-prepper class on making low-tech high-tech arrows. Mugwort!

hey Tony, re: the British accents--I love to hear them (and all others)--to me it really enhances and makes more special the songs and their lyrics. Interestingly Guided by Voices singer takes on a British accent and I think that really "makes" their style

David, and my favorite genesis album came after Gabriel left!
...and i really liked breakfast in america at the time; but it hasn't held up for me -and even then i gave up on them when i heard the follow-up. maybe they got better again? 'never heard anything of theirs after famous last words.
after all, it happened with the cure...
