Nice music. Enjoy IDLES, Greg. I so enjoyed Stew and the Negro Problem at ft greene earlier, free. He opened w “Saturday, in the park”🎶 but changed lyrics to “Saturday, in ft greene park, I think you’ve got a negro problem…”. He ripped into American liberal’s inaction to fascism. Throwing in lotsa “fuck”s.
"Lemmy.... no God........"
" No Lemmy is God..."
Hey @herb.nyc - I was at the Stew concert too. just walked back from ft greene to greenpoint with WFMU on my ears..
Ha, I wear my brother’s Members Only jacket, from the 80s. They’re available now bec a company bought the name.
@radioronan- niiice walk. I’da walked to lower Manhattan but I wanted a shake shack
@L 126464 - how come I’ve never seen Stew /NegroP, or his Passing Strange? Bec I’m a dope.

(got to do spooky stuff like this too when i worked at the bookstore, so much fun)
Chatterer was always the scariest to me, though. No possibility of dialogue. Just... chattering in your ear with his fingers in your mouth.
OK, we all need to watch this movie again ASAP. Collective pledge!
has stood the test of time way better than west side story

I'm afraid that if one of us says "Chatterer" again, he'll appear. I'm going to err on the side of caution and avoid names like Chatterton as well.
(and please cuddle the kitty for me!)
Yo, coela, HyperD!
I came along well after the pre-code E.C. Horror Comics of the 1950s (I never encountered them & they were unknown to me except as legend)
- but growing up in the 1970s - Horror Comics still felt illicit & actually spooked me. (There were likewise the full-sized Warren Publishing magazines like Eerie & Creepy - but while I loved the even then iconic Famous Monsters of Filmland - I had little to no truck w/ those...)
In fact, to this day I tell my sensitive little self I am not so much into Horror as I am into SciFi & Kaiju (Giant Monsters)
...but not only is this often splitting hairs
...but the way that Horror expresses the Repressed elements of the Collective Psyche - as made explicit in David J. Skal's 'The Monster Show' book - is always compelling. & that book helped me identify as, indeed, a Monster Kid - much as I always realized I was a Rawker culturally (if an Introverted & even AntiPopulist one)...
Yay Nathaniel!
Yo, coela, spodi, chresti!
Hi, chresti!
Feelin groovy 🎨
Please don't die Greg!!
I advocated for "Ergot Tip," but reasonable people can differ.
chresti, Fryday the 13th has more throat singing and jaw harp in it. Superior in many ways!
@Ken We are definitely in A zone =]
happy bday, Teddy (from another 1791'er)!
