A three-hour exploration of excavations from the farthest reaches of humanity's hellish collective brain, through records, tapes, CDs, mostly scoured from country bumpkin thrift stores, creepy charity shops, backwoods junk stores, and even the internet - all mixed live. We don't judge, we just play 'em. Hosted by Rich in Washington.

Daniel Menche | Bunker - Side B | Bunker | Vice de Forme | 2021 | "Recorded March 13th, 2021. Field recording of large empty WW2 era bunkers located at Fort Stevens at Hammond, Oregon. Amplifying tuned sine-waves from a portable speaker while walking throughout the large empty rooms with two different recorders in both my hands. In one hand I used a new digital recorder and in the other hand an old cassette recorder. Side A is the clean digital version and Side B is the old cassette version. There are no effects or overdubs. Entire recording is one consistent recording of myself walking around this abandoned bunker." | 2:16:36 (Pop-up) | ||||

Did I miss all the Dee Pop tributes? I only heard of it yesterday. I think the Jazz Butcher news drowned him out
