Otherwise, owners may not know what the requirements are, and there's no effective way to check on every home. By coincidence, my smoke/CO2 detector also began chirping at me yesterday... or IS it a coincidence? Gaaaaa!

Mixed it up with a can of tuna and two eggs and made fritters. Amazing with gomoshiro. OTOH today my entire apartment smells like sweet potato fries, which may be partially why my detector is aggrireved. Opened some windows for good measure. Gotta find those batteries in a bit.

Whenever my super comes up to fix any kind of plumbing/electrical thing, the first words out of his mouth are always "who the f**k put this in?" Can't say he's wrong; dishwasher had been hooked up with...wait for it...a hole drilled into a feeder piper and secured with lots and lots of radiator tape. It took him half a day of crawling around under my sink to put in a proper Y-hookup but it still cost less than a plumber would have charged, but I digress.

Just wash the whole thing, cut in half, put cut side down on a foil or parchment lined tray, and roast the crap out of it at 400F for at least an hour until it starts to weep out and the skin is black in spots. I threw the sweet yams into the oven directly, wrapped in foil, at the same time. Super good, will do again.
	♥ 10:54am Threemoons 🌛🌕🌜: Let me add that you then scoop out the squash while it's still really hot and just toss the skins, or compost them. I still have the seeds in tupperware, may throw them into a pot of beans tonight.
	♥ 10:55am drr: I just replaced batteries in both of my smoke detectors. One is made by Kidde and the other is US Electric. It gave me an appreciation for the skills of industrial designers because one went back on the ceiling with a turn and a click, and the other one I thought I was going to faint and fall off the ladder because it took so many tries to get it back on. (Go with the Kidde.)

During that period, a cousin we were all close to passed away, which created a very bizarre point of reference for us when we needed to discuss doctors' conversations, dates meds were changed, etc. "Was that the time you were in the hospital before Kathy died, after she died but before the funeral, or after the funeral?" What a hellish time.

Mixed it up with a can of tuna and two eggs and made fritters. Amazing with gomoshiro. OTOH today my entire apartment smells like sweet potato fries, which may be partially why my detector is aggrireved. Opened some windows for good measure. Gotta find those batteries in a bit.

Whenever my super comes up to fix any kind of plumbing/electrical thing, the first words out of his mouth are always "who the f**k put this in?" Can't say he's wrong; dishwasher had been hooked up with...wait for it...a hole drilled into a feeder piper and secured with lots and lots of radiator tape. It took him half a day of crawling around under my sink to put in a proper Y-hookup but it still cost less than a plumber would have charged, but I digress.

Just wash the whole thing, cut in half, put cut side down on a foil or parchment lined tray, and roast the crap out of it at 400F for at least an hour until it starts to weep out and the skin is black in spots. I threw the sweet yams into the oven directly, wrapped in foil, at the same time. Super good, will do again.
	♥ 10:54am Threemoons 🌛🌕🌜: Let me add that you then scoop out the squash while it's still really hot and just toss the skins, or compost them. I still have the seeds in tupperware, may throw them into a pot of beans tonight.
	♥ 10:55am drr: I just replaced batteries in both of my smoke detectors. One is made by Kidde and the other is US Electric. It gave me an appreciation for the skills of industrial designers because one went back on the ceiling with a turn and a click, and the other one I thought I was going to faint and fall off the ladder because it took so many tries to get it back on. (Go with the Kidde.)

During that period, a cousin we were all close to passed away, which created a very bizarre point of reference for us when we needed to discuss doctors' conversations, dates meds were changed, etc. "Was that the time you were in the hospital before Kathy died, after she died but before the funeral, or after the funeral?" What a hellish time.
