A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Vivian, in no wise do I stop the kittens from biting me. I am not sure it's possible! The biting is pretty gentle -- indeed, Goblin still suckles at my fingers! The claws are also something I think is just par for the course. I try to make the borders between playing and not playing clear, but, I dunno, they're kittens. The eat, cuddle, sleep, and play. That's pretty much it! I'm willing to have scratched-up arms for a couple of months.

These kittens knew how to use a box from their time at the shelter. They haven't gone outside the box at all that I know of.
But it's not punishment to isolate them, and you don't have to pay attention to them all the time. Just being in your space is a lot for them to take in and explore, so they're entertained by that as it is!
Is the Lobster Pound still pounding them out in Hingham?

hing
hĭng
noun
Asafetida, especially as used as a seasoning in South Asian cuisine, usually in powdered form mixed with rice flour.
So, you could have a hing ham and cheese, but I don't know how good it would be. Hing is powerful stuff.

Dad kept his boat in Hingham (that line almost reads like it needs the above-described pronunciation style! ...but we wuz regular folks) in a marina at the former Hingham shipyard -- large industrial gray sort of drab-blighted complex, where Building #19 was born. Now it's a large, full-makeover-whacked retail and condo development, with everything about earlier appearance erased. Interesting and desolate photo-bait replaced with revulsion triggers.

"The First Lady (Eleanor Roosevelt) found Hingham’s architecture, a mix of old colonial mansions, gingerbread Victorians, and charming Cape Cod cottages, to be delightful and much copied in other parts of the country. She is reputed to have described Hingham Main Street as the most beautiful Main Street in America." Kind of credit it still gets more recently. Some sections of town have long been much-money zones.
But the rehabbed shipyard in on 3A, already all bizness and traffic.
